Papers of Bayley, a Waupun, Wisconsin, teacher and farmer, including incoming correspondence relating to education at Amherst College, Amherst, Mass., where he received a bachelors and masters degree; at Manlius Academy, Manlius, N.Y., where he was principal, 1838-1846; and at Ripon College, Ripon, Wis., where he was principal, 1856-1861. Letters, 1843-1848, from his sister, Huldah Leavens, refer to the Spring Farm Association, a Fourierite phalanx at Sheboygan Falls, Wis.
